Classification of Metal

Metal is broadly classified into two categories- Ferrous Metal and Non- Ferrous Metal.

  1. Ferrous Metal- The Ferrous Metal means the metal having Iron as the base metal.

  2. Non-Ferrous Metal- The Non- Ferrous Metal means the metal where Iron is not the base metal.
